About Bareback: Symmetry in Motion, An Equine Exhibition
Studio C Gallery is presenting an exhibition that honors the horse. Horses fill our dreams and imagination. Humankind owes an enormous amount of gratitude to the horse. Domestication of the horse provided humans with mobility and survival. Yet today, horses are facing a daunting challenge. Most of us are unaware. Yearly roundups by the Bureau of Land Management, kill buyers, the horse racing breakdown scandal, and an ongoing drought that has forced some owners to abandon their animals, have left thousands of horses lives in peril. This dilemma is not going away. It is a problem that needs to be addressed through action. Studio C Gallery’s intention is to bring inspiration though art and education through awareness. It is our way of showing gratitude.
About Studio C Gallery
Studio C Gallery is dedicated to exhibiting the work of women artists. We are committed in bringing attention to the feminine characteristics and trademark of art making. Studio C Gallery creates a space for women artists to flourish by producing several curated group and solo shows yearly. It is difficult to perceive the impact of women artists’ work until it stands alone or together as a cohesive whole. Our shows are an enlightening experience for the viewer.
Studio C Gallery is located in the downtown Los Angeles arts district. The Gallery operates within the historic Santa Fe Art Colony at 2349 South Santa Fe Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90058.
